Changes to your tour
We reserve the right to change any part of the tour should circumstances beyond our control dictate; this includes the substituting of a named guide with another. We reserve the right to cancel the tour in case of the illness or any other circumstances beyond our control. In the case of us cancelling the tour a full refund of monies paid to us will be made. We reserve the right to refuse to take anyone on a tour who is, or appears to be under the influence of alcohol, or anyone whose behaviour is detrimental to the enjoyment of other tour participants.

Weather Conditions
The tour will take place regardless of weather conditions. We go rain, shine and especially thick, thick, fog. We ask you to make this point clear to each member of your group and ask them to dress according to the weather forecast. We will be happy to advise you on the weather forecast for the night of your tour. Bad weather does not constitute a valid reason for your cancelling the tour and should you wish to do so on the day we regret that a refund cannot be made. It is also worth bearing in mind that the streets of The Isle of Man are at their spookiest and best when the mists gather, the winds blow and the shadows swirl.

Cancellation Policy
Should you wish to cancel your tour we will refund payment made providing we are given reasonable notice (minimum of 3 days) and a valid explanation. Remember-bad weather is not an excuse for cancellation.

Safety
Tour participants are responsible for their own personal safety at all times. We also ask that tour participants remain vigilant at all times and keep their personal possessions safe. Isle of Man Ghost Tours accept no responsibility for any loss of possessions or for any injury caused by your not taking care when crossing roads or not watching out for obstructions such as loose paving stones.

N. B. anyone wishing to book private groups with children must have a minimum ratio of 1 adult to 10 children. Parents/ responsible adults MUST keep parental control while on a walk, as this is not our guide’s job and if the guide is unhappy with the behaviour of any group then he has the right to stop any walk. Please make sure that all children are dressed appropriately for the weather.

 Toilet Facilities
Toilet facilities are very limited on the walks on weekday nights after 8.00pm. There are pubs that you can go in to but it is up to the pubs whether they wish to allow you to use their toilets. Please ensure that all necessary toilet stops have been made BEFORE you arrive for the walk as your guide will NOT be able to direct you to a toilet and will not stop for a toilet break once the walk has started.
